Variables are the term of concepts in a study, such as the average age of a person upon acquiring his or her first job and the average salary he or she was paid for that job.

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

A variable is a feature, number or quantity that can be measured or counted. A variable can also be called a data element. Examples of variables are person's age, category of gender, company revenue and expenditures, birth country, capital expenditure, grade class, eye color and vehicle type.

When African Americans returned home after the war, what were they faced with?
nignag [31]
African Americans still faced discrimination. Many white people did not like the idea of the African Americans being freed. Most of the former slaves, grandfathers and their grandkids, would sit down together to learn how to become literate. However, most white teachers did not want to teacher them. So the African American teachers had to teach A LOT of people.

This is an example of negative reinforcement.
Her mother scolded her every time Jane bit her nails - so Jane learned that every time she bites her nails, she is going to be scolded sternly by her mother. In order to avoid that, she stopped biting her nails, and thus the reinforcement was successful.

WHAT ABOUT THE PHOENICIAN GEOGRAPHY MADE THEM RELY ON IMPORTS AND EXPORTS
Talja [164]

The Phoenician geography made them rely on imports and exports because of they lack in farmland and their close proximity to the Mediterranean.

The Phoenicians subsisted on a narrow strip of the Syrian coast. This land consists of highlands and mountains with a munificence of forests. However, it lacks the productive land which would have made large-scale cultivation possible.

Due to the inadequate size of their territory, the Phoenicians relied on the sea and commerce to sustain their living. The lack of sufficient farmland drove the Phoenicians to turn to the sea and became navigators and traders, which resulted in their establishing many colonies. They traded silver, lead, horses, ebony, iron, tin, ivory, and precious stones.
