i can give you the exact answer to your question, but what are the equations for the companies and how much do the edwards have to spend? if not, here's how to do it:

y= m(225)+b for each company. i used slope-intercept form assuming that's what form the equations are written in. it's basically saying x=225 in part a (look for the lowest y) and in part b y≥m(225)+b (look for which company's equation makes the statement true)

(ps i'm checking every few minutes if you want to comment and get the exact answer)

Carmen is using the quadratic equation (x + 15)(x) = 100 where x represents the width of a picture frame. Which statement about
Alekssandra [29.7K]
We write the equation in the standard form which is:

ax^2 + bx + c = 0

(x + 15)(x) = 100
x^2 + 15x - 100 = 0
(x + 20) (x-5) = 0

The solutions are

x = -20 and x = 5

Therefore, the correct answer is option B. The solution x = 5 should be kept, but x = –20 is unreasonable.

What is the acceleration of a 10kg mass pushed by a 10n force
Grace [21]
This is Newtons second law of motion

Force = mass * acceleration
so here we have:-

10 = 10 * a

a = 1

its acceleration is 1 meter / sec^2.

Aaron deposits $8,000 into an account that earns 3% interest, compounded Annually. How much money will he have after 4 years
Lapatulllka [165]
The equation used for this problem is

F = P(1+i)ⁿ
where
F is the future worth
P is the present worth
i is the effective interest rate
n is the number of years

Substituting the values,

F = $8,000(1 + 0.03)⁴
F = $9,004.07

Thus, after 4 years, Aaron will have $9,004.07.

Multiply 10.5 and 23.5 to get 246.75. Divide that by 3 and you have your answer, 82.25.
