How did Presidential addresses and Supreme Court rulings begin to change the lives of the American people beginning in the mid-2
Bingel [31]
In the early 20th cent., the court appeared to be highly conservative in its views. It showed in general a rigid adherence to stare decisis (the rule that precedents are to be followed), a tendency to prevent the states from adopting laws that restricted business in its employment practices and other activities, and little disposition to restrain the states from restricting civil liberties, as in the Plessy v. Ferguson case (1896), which upheld the right of states to enforce segregationist Jim Crow legislation in many Southern states. In the Insular Cases (1901), arising out of questions concerning the status of peoples in the territories acquired as a result of the Spanish American War, the court asserted that the civil rights guaranteed by the Constitution did not automatically apply to the people of an annexed territory, i.e., the Constitution did not follow the flag.

saveliy_v [14]
Nationalism changed Southwest Asia by having new independent countries. Nationalism is an extreme movement of loyalty in one’s country. Which three statements about the Hittite civilization are true?
damaskus [11]

Answer:

Hello. You did not provide the answer options, which makes it impossible for your question to be answered, but I can help you by giving you information about the Hittite civilization.

Explanation:

The Hittite civilization was an ancient civilization that was established where today Turkey is located. This civilization was very large and powerful, rivaling the title of power with the Egyptians during the period in which it existed. Its influence was so great that it was mentioned several times in the books of the old testament of the holy bible.

The trade of this civilization was based on agriculture, mining and trade. It is considered that this civilization already manipulated iron, even before the iron age.

The Hittites were a monarchy and the king was treated as a deity. In addition, religion was polytheistic with the presence of several gods.
