Properly dispose of hazardous household items. Oils, anti-freeze, paint, solvents, cleaners, preservatives, and prescription drugs should not be poured down a household or storm drain. Check with your county waste management service to find out what hazardous materials they accept.
Reduce or eliminate use of fertilizers and chemical herbicides and pesticides. Learn to live with a dandelion or two. Lawn fertilizers and chemicals are a big source of nitrogen and phosphorus pollution and toxic runoff.

our study partner has drawn four models of membrane-bound vesicles to try to show what a vesicle would look like with water both
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

The answer (Image 1) is attached. Since the options weren't provided, I've attached the image of the options, too.

Explanation:

The plasma membrane is composed of phospholipids, a special form of lipids with a hydrophilic head and hydrophobic tail. According to the fluid mosaic model, the hydrophilic heads are positioned towards the outside where they freely interact with the extracellular matrix and cytosol. Whereas, the hydrophobic tails are positioned towards the inside so they aren't exposed to water.

Liposomes are lipid bases particles used for drug and vector delivery. The picture shows a typical liposome.

In the current case, for water to move both outside and inside, hydrophilic heads should be present inside as well as outside the tails.

Which two codons in the mRNA represent the amino acid phenylalanine
Trava [24]

Answer:

UUU and UUC

Explanation:

Information that encodes certain functional products called PROTEIN are present in the DNA molecule. However, the information needs to be expressed via the processes of transcription and translation. Transcription is the synthesis of a mRNA using a DNA template.

The mRNA then undergoes translation, where it is read in a group of three nucleotides called CODON. Each CODON specifies a particular amino acid. Due to the degenerate nature of the genetic code, more than one codon can specify one amino acid.

Hence, in the case of phenylalanine amino acid, codons UUU and UUC both specify it. This means that whenever UUU and UUC are read during translation, a phenylalanine is added to the peptide chain.
