In the federal structure of government in the United States, a group of bureaus at the core of the executive branch is the Executive Office of the U.S. President. This Executive Office assists the performance of the president. The U.S. Executive Office is comprised of various offices and agencies, for instance, the White House Office (the team operating and reporting directly to the President, the West Wing staff and the closest advisers of the President of the United States). Other such bureaus include the Office of Management and the Budget National Security Council. Such offices play a crucial role in public policy implementation and regulation. Some of these play a very important role in the implementation and regulation of public policy.
