If you're asking with respect to what number it would be 0.

On a number line, a number, b, is located the same distance from 0 on the number line as -b as well.

For eg 4 is located 4 units to the right of 0.
While -4 is located 4 units to the left of 0.
The amount of units or distance is the same, only the direction is different.

<h3>Answer: Choice D</h3>

If you have a single straight vertical line cross the curve at more than one point, then you do not have a function. In other words, if an x input leads to multiple outputs, then you don't have a function.

Help please!!<br> 1. What is the value of n?<br> 2.What is the value of n?
lana66690 [7]

Using the intersecting chord theorem:

15 x 2 = 5 x n

Simplify:

30 = 5n

Divide both sides by 5:

n = 30/5

n = 6 m

8 x n+8 = 16 x n+2

Simplify:

8n +64 = 16n +32

Subtract 8n from both sides:

64 = 8n +32

Subtract 32 from both sides:

32 = 8n

Divide both sides by 8:

n = 32 /8

n = 4

2*log(y+5)=log 20-log 5
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

y =  - 3

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{2 log_{10}(y + 5) }{2} =  \frac{ log_{10}(20) }{2}  -  \frac{  log_{10}(5) }{2}

log_{10}(y + 5)  =  \frac{ log_{10}(20) }{2}    -  \frac{ log_{10}(5) }{2}

y + 5 = 2 \\ y =  - 3

Can someone help me #11 PLEASE SHOW YOUR WORK
damaskus [11]
Since the triangle is equilateral, QR = RS = QS.
a. MS = (1/2)74
    MS = 37
b. Half of the equilateral triangle makes a right triangle. Use Pythagorean Theorem to find QM.
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
37^2 + b^2 = 74^2
1369 + b^2 = 5476
subtract 1369 from both sides
b^2 = 4107
take the square root if both sides
b = 64.1
QM = 64.1
