Verona, Italy-- the Casa di Giulietta

Juliet, was a Capulet and the home of the family was at Casa di Giulietta. The home of the Capulet's is now a museum in honor of the Shakespeare play. From the courtyard of the home, visitors can see a bronze statue of Juliet believed to bring good luck in love. It is also in this courtyard, a visitor can view Juliet's famous balcony feature in the play.

This house once belonged to the Capello family which is a close combination of Juliet Capulet the fictional character in Shakespeare’s tragic love story Romeo and Juliet.</span>
