I tried to tell him, but my older brother does not believe anything I say. For almost two weeks he was fascinated by a skateboar

ding video game and the unbelievable tricks mastered by his avatar. He thought real skateboarding would be a snap. When the package came, he ripped it open and lifted out his own specially designed maple wood skateboard. Out the door he flew, dropping the skateboard at the edge of our driveway and stepping on the skateboard's deck.
Which sentence provides the BEST conclusion for this narrative paragraph?

A) Splat! Down went my big brother and his big ideas that real skateboarding would be easy.

B) "Watch this!" he shouted as he rolled away. I didn't see him again for almost two hours.

C) "Jump on!" invited my brother before he nudged the front board, making it spin 180 degrees.

D) Wow! He put one foot on the tail and one just behind the front bolts, mastering the board in minutes.

Answer:

i believe A would be the best conclusion

Explanation:

Why did Shakespeare choose to write this play in the meter of iambic pentameter?
anastassius [24]
First of all iambic pentameter is lyrical in nature and flows very easily making it easy to remember also its was a convention at the time within poetry (see Shakespear's sonnets) as well as plays. it is also less awkward then basis prose and sounds better this why many rap artist use this system today, remembering that Shakespeare in his day was not particularly highbrow  it makes sense why he chose to use iambic pentameter.

What effect does Keating's teaching have on Knox?
mote1985 [20]
In Dead Poets Society, the teacher Keating is all about Carpe Diem (seizing the day, or just going for it). He encourages his students to live  life on their own terms, and question what they have been fed as the truth. With this in mind, Knox gathers the courage to pursue a the girlfriend of a football player (a football player is at the top of the social hierarchy in an American high school/prep school, and the fact that she was dating the athlete placed her out of  Knox's league).
