From the answers you have provided, I would say the best answer is "competitive". My reasoning is because everyone who is seeking admission to most colleges and universities is competing with each other to get into said college/university.

Answer:

C. resilience of the American people.

Explanation:

the author clearly portraits the king as the bad guy here, and sounds as though he finds what the Americans in Boston did to be funny. "they had a grand tea party" he obviously likes the idea of what they did. and " the people from Maine to Georgia were all of one mind." he's showing that everyone in the 13 colonies was prepared to stand up and fight for what they believed was right.

kakasveta [241]

Answer: The quote given above is quite relevant to the events of the story. The beginning of the story proved that Tricki was lifeless because he did not struggle to digest his food. In the later part of the lesson, Dr Herriot authenticated that real strength comes only after struggle and hard work. He helped the dog to regain his strength by involving him in regular exercise and food regime. Food without exercise can lead to disease and discomfort for everyone

NEED HELP FAST PLEASE HELPPPPPP How can adults show they’re interested in children’s feelings while respecting their privacy? Gi
joja [24]

Way one they can occasionally ask how the child is feeling but don't force them to answer.

Way two if they child is moping around sad just ask them if they are alright and give them a hug then back slowly back away giving them a moment to say anything that they want to say and if they don't want to just leave them alone.

Way three if the child is angry give them a minute to leave the room and calm down then calmly ask them what the problem is.

I know thats only three im sorry i just can't think of another one i hope everything goes good and im sorry if these didnt help i wish you the best luck with whatever your doing.
