Bacterial colonies look like Ice Cream Drops. Bacterial colonies grow faster than fungal colonies. Bacterial colonies do not cover the whole surface.

Fungal colonies look a little like a smashed cotton ball. Fungal colonies grow slower than bacterial colonies. Usually, the fungus spreads through all the surface if given enough time.
