Narrative identity's theory is used as a way in which a person forms an identity through the integration of different aspects related to his/her life. These experiences are integrated into a kind of story which helps he or she to have a purpose in life. This narrative includes a person's aspects related to his/her past, present and future as well as how he or she perceives them.
Moreover, this narrative includes characters, episodes, and the appropriate subjects referring to the model of a common story. It also has a beginning part, a middle part, and an end part. Psychology usually uses narrative identity in its research.
