Answer:

22

Step-by-step explanation:

the equasion would be e=(m*2)-4

then the new one would be m= (e+4)/2 and e=18

18+4=22/2=11

to check this do 11*2=22-4=18

Remaining from last month: 60 - 40 = 20

Sold This Month: 20 x \frac{2}{5} = 8

Remaining from this month: 20 - 8 = 12

The length of a rectangle is 5 m greater than the width. The perimeter is 150 m. find the width
Elza [17]

P = perimeter

Perimeter of a rectangle = l + l + w + w

or  P = 2l + 2w

You know:

P = 150 m

l = w + 5     [length is 5 m greater than the width]

P = 2l + 2w        Plug in what you know

150 = 2(w + 5) + 2w     Simplify, distribute/multiply 2 into (w + 5)

150 = 2w + 10 + 2w

150 = 4w + 10     Subtract 10 to both sides of the equation

140 = 4w       Divide 4 on both sides

35 = w

PROOF               l = w + 5 --->  l = 40

P = 2l + 2w

150 = 2(40) + 2(35)

150 = 80 + 70

150 = 150

The ratio of adults to children at the school is 1:3.There are 48 children in the school.how many adults are at the school
zepelin [54]

Simply set up a proportion. 1/3 = x/48. Cross multiply afterwards. 48 = 3x. Solve the equation. x = 16. By using proportions which is another form of a ratio you can easily find out that there are 16 adults at the school. Hope this helps :))

I need help to grab a line this is a stadi G checkpoint it gives you the answer if you do not know it but I don’t want just the
olga55 [171]

The most direct form to graph a line, is to find two points of it and connect them with a line.

Here we have:

y=2x-6

Let's find the point where x = 0. To do this, we replace the x in the equation by 0:

\begin{gathered} y=2\cdot0-6 \\ y=-6 \end{gathered}

We have our first point: (0, -6)

Next let's find the point where y = 0. Again, we replace y in by 0 in the equation:

\begin{gathered} 0=2x-6 \\ 6=2x \\ x=\frac{6}{2}=3 \end{gathered}

We have our second point, (3, 0)

Now all we have to do is plot the points (0, -6) and (3, 0) in the plane, and connect them with a line, and then the line is graphed

The line should look like this:
