Answer:

Explanation:

Some autosomal genes may affect the phenotypes of individuals of one sex more than individuals of the other but they play no part in the development of being a male or being a female. this type of gene is thus a sex influenced autosomal gene. The type of inheritance exhibited by this trait in the male goat follows the autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance meaning the for the trait to be expressed, it has to be the dominant allele form on the X chromosome. In the females, this trait follows the autosomal recessive pattern of inheritance such that for a female goat to be bearded, the trait must be inherited as a homozygous recessive trait, while an heterozygous or a homozygous dominant female will be beardless.

Propose a hypothesis of why the flu vaccine must be given every year but for most viral infections one or two doses of the vacci
ahrayia [7]
The flu vaccine changes every year. The flu vaccine is based on a predicted strain that is anticipated to be the most infectious that year. Thats why people who sometimes get the vaccination still get the flu, they don't have the antibodies for the strain they were infected with.  Strains for viral disease don't change very much and usually the vaccination for them cover them well.

The placement of prokaryotes into major clades within the domains Archaea and Bacteria has been based on __________.
Alja [10]

Answer:

Molecular evidence

Explanation:

Earlier archaea were considered as bacteria because they show some similarities with bacteria like binary fission as mode of reproduction, lack of a nucleus, etc.

Later Carl Woese separated bacteria in a different domain and divide prokaryote into two domains called bacteria and archaea. He separated archaea from bacteria on molecules evidence.

He compaired rRNA sequence between bacteria and archaea and observed that they both differ in rRNA sequence which allowed him to make a separate domain for archaea.
