n-2=10n+4/2

We move all terms to the left:

n-2-(10n+4/2)=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

n-(10n+2)-2=0

We get rid of parentheses

n-10n-2-2=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

-9n-4=0

We move all terms containing n to the left, all other terms to the right

-9n=4

n=4/-9

n=-4/9

if you add four numbers together and then divide the sum by 4 you find the a.mean b. weighted average c. median d, mode
andreev551 [17]
The answer is a. mean. This is the same as the average. (The median is different. It is the number in the middle of all the numbers when they are arranged from smallest to largest. There is no summation or division required in order to determine it.)

element x is a radioactive isotope such that every 32 years, its mass decreases by half. given that the initial mass of the samp
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

the answer is 31.9 years

Step-by-step explanation:

initial mass,  M_{0}  = 150 gram

half life, t_{half\hspace{0.1cm}life} = 32 years

new mass = half of initial mass = M = 0.5M_{0}

formula , M = M_{0} e^{\frac{\ln\frac{1}{2}}{t_{half} }\times x } where x is the number of years required.

therefore 0.5 M_{0}  = M_{0} e^{\frac{\ln\frac{1}{2}}{t_{half} }\times x } = M_{0} e^{-0.0217x}

therefore -0.0217 x = \ln{0.5} = -0.693

therefore x = \frac{-0.693}{-0.0217} = 31.942

A = multiples of 5 between 14 and 26
Olenka [21]

Answer:

(A ∪ B) = {15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25}

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiples of 5:

{0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, ...}

So between 14 and 26:

A = {15, 20, 25}

Odd numbers between 14 and 26:

B = {15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25}

(A ∪ B)

All numbers that are part of at least one of these sets. So

(A ∪ B) = {15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25}
