Have you read the story “The Monkey's Paw?” I have. I enjoyed it tremendously! It was creepy and suspenseful. It was heartbreaki

ng for the White family. It taught a valuable lesson. I highly recommend it! What is wrong with sentence fluency in this paragraph?

This paragraph contains all the right information, but it is not conveyed in the most appropriate way. In this text, we see that each sentence ends abruptly. The sentences are too short, and there are not enough transition words. Therefore, the sentences do not flow easily, and it is likely that the reader would find this writing unenjoyable or unappealing.

It is choppy and there are too many periods (which makes it choppy).

Each sentence ends abruptly, that's all I know.

Hope I was of use, have a great day!

Read this excerpt from a personal narrative.
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

It reveals the characters’ thoughts and feelings about

Now, this sentence wasn't complete, but it seems like the most obvious choice. The dialogue didn't tell us why the narrator does not have enough money to buy groceries, nor does it explain how the experience in the store has shaped the identity of the author. It might provide a little background information that helps the reader get to know the characters, but for now, option D seems the most fitting. You can use context clues and experience to hypothesize that it might be "it reveals the characters’ thoughts and feelings about the situation."

Hope this helped!

A conclusion about a visit to the doctor
arsen [322]

Answer:

 • When you see your doctor regularly, they are able to detect health conditions or diseases early. By getting the correct health services, screenings, and treatment you are taking important steps toward living a longer, healthier life.

Explanation:

 • I’m aware that it’s only when you, or someone you love, is unwell that you realise the importance of doctors and nurses. But that’s not quite my subject today. Instead, I want to draw your attention to a quality that reveals itself after doctors and nurses become critical: the goodness we take for granted. It’s what we all rely on but often do not see or, at least, fully appreciate.

Hope this helps you !!!
