“Christopher Columbus” explored America. He discovered a new continent, and this made way for more trade and people could earn more money form here.  Trading posts were established in North America. People traded for fish, whale oil, otter skins and Europe became more and more wealthy.

With this trade, also came many diseases, many animals from America to Europe. They also stole slaves from America. They got gold, silver and many other resources.
