Answer and Explanation:

These lines are among the very last ones in Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet". The feud between two families has caused the death of several people. The son and daughter of each family, who have fallen in love with each other, also ended up dead as the result of a failed plan to escape the feud and live their lives happily together.

In the final act of the play, the prince of Verona says, "A glooming peace this morning with it brings. The sun for sorrow will not show his head." That means even the sun is too sad to shine. The long-awaited peace between the two families has finally been achieved, but the price they paid for it was too high. Their precious offspring is now dead, quite a heavy toll to pay over rivalry. The prince goes on to say that some of the tragic things that have taken place will be pardoned, while some will be punished. He concludes by stating that there has never been a story more painful than that of Romeo and Juliet.

The best theme statement about consequences based on Robert Frost’s poem "The Road Not Taken” is Every choice in life brings with it a wholly different set of consequences. In short, in every decision in life, there is an equivalent effect or consequences behind it. So you cannot say that what you have been experiencing right now is because of fate, it is in face the consequence of your decision.

What does this means? (Long way down novel)
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

I believe it means, you can either join someone and work with them and "get down with them" so do things with them, or get beaten by them and be "crushed" by them. Similar to the saying if you can't beat them, join them. Just a bit different meaning pick to join them or get beaten by them.

Did absalom receive a fair punishment for his crime? why or why not?
GenaCL600 [577]

It may have been an unfair decision but sadly the judge had to uphold the law and what sealed Absalom’s fate was the fact that he fired the shot that killed the servant even if it was out of fear. At the very least, the other two should not have absolved and instead should have also been given some kind of sentence because all three of them entered the house and it was clear what their intention was.
