Answer:

The league of nations grew out of the catastrophe of world war. Before the formation of organisations like the league of nations and United nations, wars and tensions were and important characteristic of the world. The problems brought with the first world war could not be handled by individual states so league of nations was created to prevent war. Although it was unsuccessful due to its loose structure. The league of nations never received any support of the world powers while United Nations have support of the major world powers. while in League of nations the nations were concerned abut their own status. The league of nations couldn't utilise force in to solve conflicts. while the United Nations can do so. The biggest difference between them is that the League couldn't receive funding from the major powers e.g US. While the United Nations is supported by more than ninety states in the world.
