A “good life” is subjective to many people. Some may find it in being wealthy. Having everything in the world that you would think could satisfy them for eternity. It may be having your own successful small business, or leaving a mark on the world that makes you memorable. Humans have a perception that range from those who persist we have an intention to be here, one may be guided by the laws of religion, those who may not see an afterlife, or those who find peace within reincarnation as personal comfort. Although there isn’t a precise and indefinite answer that describes life after death as your one and only soul has passed your body and with life moving forward, it will just not involve you.

Explanation:
Of the three poems written by Teasdale I personally enjoyed "Lights" the most. I enjoyed how she expressed how much love filled up her heart that there was no room for emptiness or negative emotions. There is nothing better in the world that being loved and Teasdale really expressed that in the poem. She explained how many people do not have this true and mature love that she has. The other people had to use lights to light up their life while she had love that lit up hers. This effected me because I want to have that kind of love one day. So many people do not have or ever find this kind of pure and unconditional love that keeps your heart full and you never have to wonder or worry again. Teasdale used a lot of imagery in her poem to create a good visual of the main points she wanted to get across. Her word choice was to my liking, she used mature, deep, pure, and meaningful words. The rhyming was nicely placed, because it kept the reader involved and it also helped relate the words to one another, creating a sense of compatibility within the sentences.
