Answer:

The total estimated bil is $82,564.8

Explanation:

a. In order to calculate the rate charged per hour of labor we would have to use the following formula:

Labor rate per hour=Total budgeted time charges +Profit Margin

                                     Budgeted hours

=$171,585 + $38.86

    5,580

=$69.61

The rate charged per hour of labor is $69.61

b. In order to calculate the material loading percentage we would have to use the following formula:

material loading=Total budgeted material loadingcharges+Profitpercentage

percentage Total invoice of parts and materiales on parts

material loading percentage=$93,675 + 80%

                                                 $750,000

=92.49%

The material loading percentage is 92.49%

c. In order to calculate the total estimated bill we would have to use the following formula:

total estimated bill=(labor rate per hour×hours required)+(material loading percentage×parts required)+material

=($69.61×80)+(92.49%×$40,000)+$40,000

=$5,568.8+$36,996+$40,000

=$82,564.8

The total estimated bil is $82,564.8

Using the plant Oenothera lamarckiana, or Evening Primrose, Hugo de Vries discovered stable new variants in multiple generations
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

Mutation

Explanation:

De Vries, following his discovery of stable new variants in several generations when the Oenothera lamarckiana is planted, coined the word mutation. In his observation, the original plant occasionally bears offspring that vary significantly in their phenotypic features such as leaf shape, which remains stable and can be passed on to the next generation. He referred to these dramatic variants as mutation.

De Vries is said to be the father of Mutation. He is best known for propounding the Mutation Theory.

Evaluate this statement: "If the yield of two bonds having equal maturity changes the same amount, the price of the lower coupon
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

FALSE

Explanation:

As the lower coupon means there is less amount of cash subject to variation of interest rate.

We must understand that in the end of the life of a bond(maturity), the value should always match the face value thus, the difference in bond market price arise from coupon payment.

If a bonds coupon payment is 40 dollars while another bond coupon payment is 80 dollars the present value of the second will be more influenced from the interest rate as there are more dollars in the future to discount.

If a seller requires an intermediary to purchase a supplementary product to qualify to purchase the primary product the intermed
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

A Tying Contract

Explanation:

If a seller requires an intermediary to purchase a supplementary product to qualify to purchase the primary product the intermediary wishes to buy, it results in a tying contract. It is mostly treated as an illegal because it pushes intermediary organization to buy other products if they wishes to purchase the products which is actually needed to be purchased. Some companies make it compulsory for their intermediaries in doing so. For example, if you have to buy 10 packs of Lays, then you must be buying 5 extra boxes of Pepsi as well. It is being done because of the power and market share that company is enjoying in the market, so they take its advantage.
