Answer:

Cellular respiration is an important fusion process that moves sulfur from life into the atmosphere through the sulfur cycle

Explanation:

Respiration is an important process of life. This process is a biochemical pathway that releases energy from chemical bonds and energy used to carry out other important functions of life. Every cell lives and each receives cellular respiration. Cellular respiration can be carried out in two different ways. Cellular respiration that occurs in oxygen is called aerobic respiration. And cellular respiration that occurs in the absence of oxygen anaerobic cellular respiration.

In prokaryotic cells cellular respiration steps are carried out in the cytoplasm and the inner surface of the cell.

Cellular respiration is the process of breaking down complex organic molecules that are rich in potential energy into waste products that have lower energy (catabolic processes) at the cellular level. In cellular respiration, oxygen is involved as a reactant along with organic fuels and will produce water, carbon dioxide, and its main energy product ATP. ATP (adenosine triphosphate) has energy for cell activity such as synthesizing biomolecules from smaller starter molecules, carrying out mechanical work such as muscle contraction, and transporting biomolecules or ions through membranes to higher concentrating regions.

This is the cellular respiration equation

C6H12O6 + 6 O2 6 CO2 + 6 H2O + energy

Answer:

Cellular respiration is an important metabolic process that moves sulfur from living organisms into the atmosphere.

Explanation:

Cellular respiration is mainly based in the carbon cycle, because most of the compounds involved have carbon in it structure.

sulfur can release to the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels or by volcanic eruptions in the form of SO2, this is a normal gas, despite is a toxic gas, but the quantities that are formed are too little.

Like a cycle, the animals can obtain sulfur if they eat plants because the plants take from the soil the sulfur and transformed it into minerals like sulfates.

Like a cycle, the element sulfur just change from one substance to another.

A particular recessive genetic disorder is fatal before birth, so there are no homozygous recessive individuals. In a particular
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

  • the allelic frequency for p is 0.967
  • the allelic frequency for q is 0.033

Explanation:

According to Hardy-Weinberg, the allelic frequencies in a locus are represented as p and q, referring to the alleles. The genotypic frequencies after one generation are p² (Homozygous for allele p), 2pq (Heterozygous), q² (Homozygous for the allele q). Populations in H-W equilibrium will get the same allelic frequencies generation after generation. The sum of these allelic frequencies equals 1, this is p + q = 1.

In the exposed example,

  • A recessive genetic disorder is fatal before birth, so there are no homozygous recessive individuals
  • In a particular population, one in 15 individuals is a carrier for this disorder.

What are the allele frequencies of the dominant (p) and recessive (q) alleles in this population?

If 1 of 15 individuals are carriers for this disorder, this means that 1/15 are heterozygous, 2pq. So, 2pq = 1/15 = 0.066

Now we must calculate the allelic frequencies.

We know that 1 in 15 individuals are heterozygous, and we also know that there are no recessive homozygous, q², because they can not survive, so of the 15 individuals only one is heterozygous and the rest 14 individuals must be dominant homozygous, p².

The dominant homozygous genotypic frequency is

p²= 14/15 = 0.933

And by clearing the next equation we can get the allelic frequency for p

p²= 0.933

p = √0.933

p = 0.967

So now we know that the allelic frequency for p is 0.967

This means that the allelic frequency for q or p is 0.033, which we deduce by clearing the equation p + q = 1

                          0.967 + q = 1

                         q = 1 - 0.967

                          q = 0.033

  • the allelic frequency for p is 0.967
  • the allelic frequency for q is 0.033

A population started with 100 individuals. There were 14 birth, 20 deaths, and new individuals immigrated into the population. A
Korolek [52]

Answer: -6%

Explanation: you take the formula

r (growth rate) = Births (B) - Deaths (D) /

                                           population

So that would be    r = 14 - 20 /

                                         100

so the growth rate was -6% Sorry about the formatting :/

Which factor is NOT a strong piece of evidence for evolution?
prohojiy [21]

Evolution is the process by which an organism develops an adaptive mechanism to respond to selection forces.
Human evolution is similar to every evolution in the animal and plant kingdom. Forced by the environment both internal and external forces, animals adapted to the extreme conditions they were put in. As humans evovled, bacteria and other microorganisms also evolved to better attack and obtain food from other organisms including mankind.
