The following are the recognized allocation methods for DHCP
Dynamic Allocation - A network saves up a bunch of IP addresses for DHCP. During network initialization, each client will request one IP address from the network.
Automatic Allocation - Each DHCP client is assigned permanently with a single IP address.
Manual Allocation - The server is disabled and an admin manually assigns an IP address to a client based on its MAC ID.
