8 ounces =1 cup
2 cups=1pint
So 16 ounces =1pint
If you have 8 ounces, you would have half a pint. If you have 20 ounces
20 ounces/16 ounces =5/4
So you’d have 1 1/4 or 1.25 pints
Hope this helps

Andrews [41]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation of the function is,

f(x) = 2x² + 20x + 54

To convert the function in the form of f(x) = a(x - h)² + k

f(x) = 2(x² + 10x) + 54

     = 2[x² + 2(5x) + 25 - 25] + 54

     = 2[x² + 2(5x) + 5²] + 54 - 50

     = 2(x + 5)² + 4

     = 2[(x - (-5)]² + 4

Vertex of the quadratic equation (parabola) will be (-5, 4)

Therefore, f(x) has a minimum value at x = -5,

f(-5) = 4

"The function f(x) has a minimum value of 4, which occurs when x = 5"

Given the equation 3x-2y=-10, identify the slope and the y-intercept
beks73 [17]

Answer:

3/2 is the slope and (0,5) is the y-intercept

Step-by-step explanation:

We need slope-intercept form for this question, so we simplify the equation into:

-2y=-10-3x which is just

y=5+3/2x =

y=3/2x+5

When we compare this to y=mx+b, we see that 3/2 is the slope and (0,5) is the y-intercept.
