George Mason contributed to the United States Constitution by becoming the chief supporter of the Bill of Rights.

Mason was a delegate to the US Constitutional Convention of 1787. What is the benefit to constitutional democracies when term limits on the executive are established?
Svetach [21]

Answer:

The main benefit that constitutional democracies represent when time limits are established for the mandates of political representatives is that alternations are guaranteed. Thus, the generation of lifetime mandates by presidents, governors, etc., is avoided, guaranteeing the inexistence of cult of personalities within government, and preventing the formation of autocratic governments based on these cults.
