The body uses different muscle groups to generate motion. In running and swimming, your muscles are working to accelerate your body and keep it moving. In weightlifting, your muscles are working to move a weight. Exercise means muscle activity! As you use your muscles, they begin to make demands on the rest of the body. In strenuous exercise, just about every system in your body either focuses its efforts on helping the muscles do their work, or it shuts down.

after the brain receives information from the body's sensory receptors, what is the next step in responding to this information?
Bumek [7]

The sensory receptors refer to the portions of the nervous system, which sense variations in the external or internal surroundings. The sensory input can be in various forms, comprising taste, pressure, light, sound, pH of blood, or levels of hormones, which are transformed into a signal and are transmitted to the brain or spinal cord.

In the sensory centers of the brain, the barrage of information is integrated and a response is produced. The response, that is, a motor output refers to a signal conducted towards organs via motor neurons, which then transforms the signal into some kind of action, like changes in heart rate, movement, discharge of hormones, and others.

Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

a. disruption of mitotic spindle formation.

Explanation:

Vinblastine is a chemotherapeutic drug which is used to restrict cancer cell proliferation. During metaphase, it binds to microtubular proteins which play a very important role in mitotic spindle formation. If spindles will not form then during anaphase, the sister chromatids will not separate and mitosis will not take place. This is how hyper-proliferative cancerous cells are controlled from dividing and cancer is treated using this drug.
