Combating human trafficking requires a comprehensive, multidisciplinary effort. Within government, this means the participation and coordination among agencies with a range of responsibilities that include criminal enforcement, labor enforcement, victim outreach and services, public awareness, education, trade policy, international development and programs, immigration, intelligence, and diplomacy. Coordinated efforts are essential to an integrated response to human trafficking that leverages resources and amplifies results. Although challenging to coordinate such a massive effort, it is a critical and worthwhile endeavor that can yield incredible success and progress. For this reason, the United States engages in robust interagency coordination and advocates that other foreign governments undertake interagency coordination efforts as well.

How did the nile shape the knowledge, values, beliefs, goals, and the behavior of the ancient egyptians?
Mars2501 [29]
The Nile river made ancient Egypt an agricultural society, relying on crops to grow when the Nile flooded, which was a very benign thing. They associated gods with the Nile, and their constant supply of food from the crops along the Nile allowed them to build and invent some pretty cool stuff.

After Antiochus defiled the Temple, he built an altar to the god _________ . Venus Jupiter Mars Saturn
Wittaler [7]

He built an altar to the god Jupiter.

Antiochus IV was the 8th ruler of the Seleucid empire. He called himself 'the visible god' because he believed that he and Jupiter were identical. The visible refers to the fact that the planet Jupiter can be seen with a naked eye. He identified himself with Jupiter and many people thought him a madman. His biggest enemies were the Jews and he was determined to exterminate them.

In 168 BC, he devastated Jerusalem and put a pig on the Temple's altar there. He then erected an altar to Jupiter, killed many Jews, destroyed temples and copies of Scriptures and put many Jews into slavery. He also tortured many of them in order to renounce their religion.
