Music, art and theater can all show how life is around you. They can express the bad things in your culture, and they can also show the good things. A painting can show the brutality of a war. A song can explain what's good about a certain area. A play can tell you about the hardships a certain culture goes through. The arts can help teach people about their own culture, or about others'.
