The scientific process follows seven steps which are. identify a research question or problem, form a hypothesis, gather evidence, or data, to test the hypothesis, analyze the evidence, decide whether the evidence supports the hypothesis, draw conclusions and finally communicate the results. It is during the process of testing the hypothesis and analyzing the evidence that you get the scientific facts and then you have to see if the evidence supports your hypothesis which is determining explanations.
