The sentence says, "I pulled the soft red wool over my <em>entire body</em>", so that means that the answer can't be a hat or a glove, you can't put a hat over your entire body. Since the sentence also uses "pulled", I can assume that the answer is blanket because I don't think that you commonly say, when wearing a sweater, that you pull it on.
