The eyes of the lady
were not pearls but rock,
cold, damp, as in a shady
day, leaving one in shock.
The chairs were arranged
previously, without my consent.
I still remember her deranged
eyes, her pupils, her resent.
A. She might have a better understanding of the story since she has insight to every character’s thoughts and feelings.
