Answer: you sold 36 tickets and your friend sold 22 tickets

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume your friend sold x tickets

And you sold (x+14) tickets because the question says you sold 14 more than your friend to have a combined sales of 58tickets

x + (x +14) = 58

2x+14= 58

2x=58-14

2x=44

x=22tickets which your friend sold

X+14= 22+14= 36tickets which you sold
