I would just think of possible factors of 28 that come between 5 and 12. 28 is not divisible by 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12, so this is easy. 28 ÷ 7 is 4, so there are 4 rows of 7 plants each. Yay!

1.  Parenthesis:
(15)8 - 4 + 2 + 1
Multiply:
120 - 4 + 2 + 1
Subtract:
116 + 2 + 1
Add:
119, the answer is A.
2. 8 x 15 = 120
120 / 2 = 60
6 x 15 = 90
90 + 60 = 150
The answer is A.
Hope this helps!

If tanA+cotA=2 then find the value of cosA
aniked [119]

Answer:

cos A=

\frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }

Step-by-step explanation:

We know,

cotA=

\frac{1}{ \tan(a) }

Substituting the value of cot A in the given equation, we get

\tan( a)  +  \frac{1}{ \tan(a) }  = 2

\frac{{ \tan }^{2} a + 1}{  \:  \tan(a)  }  = 2

{ \tan }^{2 \: } a \:  + 1 = 2 tan \: a

{ \tan }^{2} a - 2 \tan \: a + 1 = 0

( \tan \: a - 1) {}^{2 }  = 0

\tan \: a - 1 =  \sqrt{0}

\tan \: a = 1

\tan \: a \:  =  \tan \: 45

a = 45

\cos \: a =  \cos \: 45

\cos \: a =   \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }

damaskus [11]

Answer:

P = $2448.89

P ~= $2,449

He need to deposit $2,449

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Interest rate r= 7% = 0.07

Number of years n = 3 years

Future value that should be meet A = $3000

We need to calculate the initial investment (Principal P). Using the compound interest formula:

A = P(1+r)^n

P = A/(1+r)^n

Substituting the values of A, r, n, we have;

P = 3000/(1+0.07)^3

P = $2448.89

P ~= $2,449
