Answer:

Jobs' Stanford Commencement Address contains 3 stories. These three stories connect with each other in a very particular way. As he uses the expression connect the dots he states the structural organization of topics. The speech is made to motive the graduates to go further by using pathos. Besides connecting with the emotional reaction of the audience the points support each other to create a whole.

Explanation:

This speech of Steve Jobs flows in a very balanced way as he advances in the story connecting the effects of life, decisions, and passion to succeed. When he uses his own experience on the exemplification of these areas he makes the message more powerful and likely to remain in the minds of the new professionals and future entrepreneurs.

What is the tone of the article life isn't fair deal with it
antiseptic1488 [7]

The tone of this article is highly critical towards those who complain about the challenges and adversities that life brings upon them, or that they bring upon themselves, and, instead of seeing them as opportunities to surpass themselves and even excel, they focus on feeling sorry for themselves, and expect others to feel the same way about them. They adopt a conformist attitude that might be reflecting a lack of confidence or a limited capability. Furthermore, the tone of the article is outspoken yet encouraging. Life may not be fair, and it is certainly not easy, particularly for some people, but a positive attitude and personal drive can go a long way to make the most out of it.
