It is important to let others know about your accomplishments, however, you do not want to be looking for a reward in it. Also you don't want to seem like you want to be better than everyone else. Even if you are :) So agree!

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Letting others know about one's accomplishments is important. Agree up to one point. Let them know honestly what you have done and what you are capable of doing, but not to show off, not to make others feel less than us. We have to share only what is important for the occasion. For instance, if are applying for a job or to get the account of a new client, of course, that we need to mention our accomplishments professionally.

Why might the supremacy clause cause conflict? Provide an example
likoan [24]

Answer:

The Supremacy Clause provides for the Constitution and the Laws created by the United States to be the “Law of the Land”, which means that the federal government holds power over any laws created at the state level. The tenth Amendment is meant for states to create laws that are not currently reserved by the federal government.

This means that states can make their own laws that the Federal Government currently does not have the power to enforce. Whenever a state proposes a law that conflicts with a federal law, the federal government will always win. For example, if a state wanted to reintroduce slavery, the Supremacy Clause and the 13th Amendment would supersede the state’s request. A state however, can make their own traffic, and criminals law, etc.

The Federal government is responsible for making laws regarding the military, money, taxes, international relations, etc. The states are responsible for state level taxes, transportation, capital punishment, family law, etc.

Assoli18 [71]

This question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is as follows:

Constance and Jennifer both watch a lot of TV, but Constance tends to get up and walk around during the commercials. Which process accounts for that fact that Constance has maintained her weight, while Jennifer has put on 10 pounds?

a. Archimedes Principle

b. non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT)

c. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry

d. hydro-static pressure

e. skinfold variance

Answer:

The correct answer is letter b. non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) .

Explanation:

Even though both women are not truly exercising, Constance is still burning calories due to non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) . Everything we do demands energy and, of course, exercising usually spends the most energy, burning more calories. But even other types of physical exertion burn calories, such as standing up, walking around, running to catch a bus, etc. Jennifer's body is also expending energy but, since it is at rest, it is doing so in a lower rate than Constance's.
