6 = rate for regular overtime
9 = rate for overtime
12 = rate for holidays

40 x 6 = 240
6.5 x 9 = 58.5
8 x 12 = 96
240 + 58.5 + 96 = 394.5

The final answer is $394.5

$394

$6 is earned per hour over a 40 hour period. [6*$40=$240]

$9 is earned over a 6.5 hour perid. [$9 coming from $6*1.5, which is then multiplied by 6.5, the hours worked. $9*6.5=$58.5]

$12 is earned over an 8 hour perod [ $12 coming from $6*2, which is then multiplied by 8, the hours worked over holidays. $12*8=$96]

Once each of these are worked out they are simply added together $240 + $58.5 + $96 = $394.50

The number of new customers n that visit a dry cleaning shop in one year is directly related to the
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

$15,264 cost amount on new advertising.

Shown as new equation that includes (original + new customer base)

n3=15264a

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to find original amount of customers as 3 represents a multiple of n

n3=13824a

n3 means n x 3 then customer base is one third

= 1/3 x 13,824  = 4608 original customers per year

= 4608 original customers +480 new customers

4608 + 480 = 5088 total orig+initial  customers

5088 x 3 = 15264 cost

= ($)15,264 cost

new equation

n3=15264a

Korvikt [17]
Hello,

Let's assume t the time for counting one step
V the girl velocity in t
v the escalator velocity in t
d the length to go upstairs

going up: V*60+v*60=d
walking down: V*90-v*90=d

so
V+v=d/60
V-v=d/90
2V=d*5/180
V=d*5/360
V=d/72
V*72=d The girl must count to 72 steps.(here v=0)
