The Battle of Bennington took place on August 16, 1777. A group of  General Burgoyne's army, led by Friedrich Baum, was sent over there to take supplies. It was composed of around 700 men.

Upon their arrival, they were taken by surprise by a group of around 2000 militiamen from New Hampshire and Massachusetts led by General John Stark. They were also supported by Vermont locals led by Seth Warner.

PLEASE HELP <br> What are some of the things Anne and the others miss while in hiding?
Sav [38]
In hiding, I'd say first of all she missed her friends, her cat, and normal life. She also missed "riding her bike, hearing the birds sing, getting a fresh breath of air, and laughing out loud with her friends". Under the articles of confederation, the executive branch was to lead the national government. true
Igoryamba
The executive branch had very little power under the Articles of Confederation. The legislative branch was by far the strongest under this system and this left the federal government very weak and invited anarchy among the states and general population.
