It gives them more experience in the field, which would lead them to more success. If you compare a person who only did high school and someone with a degree in photography, the person with the degree is likely to have a better understanding of the job and know what it entails, they have experience rather than just rushing into a job, and it's not always the case that you can get the job with just a high school diploma.
