Answer:

a. 600$

b. 1,900 $

Explanation:

Cash basis and accrual basis are two different accounting methods that are used to register transactions of revenues and expenses.

The main difference between them is how they report the company's revenues:

While Cash basis method only reports revenues when the payment is received, the accrual basis reports revenues when they are earned, no matter if the cash has been received or not.

In this case, at the end of the year, only 600 $ has actually been paid but there are 1,300$ more that  have been earned but not yet received.

So, in this case, if we work with the Cash basis method, revenues are 600$ (only the money thatr has been received).

but, if we work with accrual basis method, revenues are the total amount earned during the period which is : 600$+ 1,300 $= 1,900$

Kangaroo Autos is offering free credit on a new $10,000 car. You pay $1,000 down and then $300 a month for the next 30 months. T
babunello [35]

Answer:

8,938.0168 present value of the car in Kangaroo Autos.

Explanation:

We will calculate present value of annuity of $300 per month during 30 months at 0.83% discount rate:

C \times \frac{1-(1+r)^{-time} }{rate} = PV\\

C $  300

time       30 months

rate         0.0083 per month

300 \times \frac{1-(1+0.0083)^{-30} }{0.0083} = PV\\

PV $7,938.0168

We will add the 1,000 down payment

7,938.0168 + 1,000 = 8,938.0168 present value of the car in Kangaroo Autos.

The price of a stock put option is __________ correlated with the stock price and __________ correlated with the strike price. n
Katarina [22]

Answer:

Negatively, positively

Explanation:

A stock put option is a stock/market instrument that allows a stock to be sold, at a certain price and at any time to another buyer.

A strike price is the price that a stock seller decides to sell his stocks after receiving offers.

For the above question, the Stock put option is negative related to the stock price and positively related to the strike price.

This can be translated to simply mean that the price of a stock is not subject to or affected by the stock price but rather by the price that the seller chooses to sell.

Cheers.
