Why was America’s victory at Yorktown among the most significant battles of the American Revolution? It made the British realize

they were fighting a lost cause and soon after, they conceded the war. It forced colonists who had so far remained neutral to pick a side and enlist in the war. It helped the Continental Army remove all British barracks from New Jersey. It helped secure France’s military and financial aid for the American cause. It was the colonists’ first victory against the British during the Revolution. NextReset

It Helped the Continental Army Remove all British barracks from New Jersey.
The Victory in Yorktown was really a Great Victory!
The US Army was following the British Army to a small peninsula.
The British Army thought that they'll get reinforcements from France, which was wrong.
The French reinforcements came to the American side, and helped in stopping the Arrival of many British ships.
Here, the king decided to sign peace and leave America.
So, we can say that Yorktown was where USA took her Liberty.

Hope this Helps! :)

The Continental Army's triumphs at Princeton and Trenton went a long way in boosting the patriots' morale. These battles also caused the British barracks to be moved from New Jersey to New York.

So it is not C.  I believe it to be A, it wasn't long after Yorktown that King George decided with the help of the people of England, they had had enough.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

There is no question here. Just a statement. If this is a true or false question, then the answer is "true."

It is true that the Proclamation of 1763, it drew a line along the crest of the Appalachian Mountain Range, and declared that no white settlement could take place west of that line. It was significant because it drew a "color line" in North America and admitted Indigenous Peoples had sovereignty.

After the English victory over the French in the French and Indian War, George III, the King of England, issued the Proclamation of 1763. It established an imaginary line that divided the East coast American colonists settlings from the western Indian territories. The idea was that white colonists respected the Native American Indian tribe's territories and forbid the invasion of their lands.

Hello NME2002,

This is a DBQ, so I don't know how effective my answer would be without looking at the selection of documents that Mr. Stephenson gave us to write this on.

However, I will say that women had some doo doo rank back then.

Best of luck!

When was the ordinance of secession declared
Leona [35]

The answer really depends on which of the 13 Southern states you are referring to. Each state issued their own Ordinance of Secession, in either 1860 or 1861. Hope this helps.
