African Americans did not benefit from New Deal programs because there is no need for sharecropper which was the man occupation of African Americans. Sharecropper refers to those tenant which work on other field and pay the rent of the field by giving the share of the crop. So these African Americans labours lost their job and home also after the New Deal programs. So that's why New Deal programs adversely affected the lives of African Americans.
