Which explains why U.S. leaders are eager to get North Korea to sign the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty?
padilas [110]
U.S. leaders are eager to get North Korea to sign the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty because a) North Korea has targeted U.S. allies with threats of nuclear attacks and ultimate destruction. This includes the United States and South Korea, where the United States has been its' longtime enemy for the past few decades and there has been humongous tension between North and South Korea. Since North Korea is one of the most private and secretive countries in the world, no one knows exactly how much nuclear power it has.

What did the treaty of 1828 provide what did the United States agree to do and what did the Cherokees agree to do
gregori [183]

Answer:

The United States agreed to pay the tribe $5 million provide new land in the West that would never be included within any future state. The Treaty of New Echota also required the U.S. government to compensate individual Cherokees for their houses and other property.

Explanation:

The removal of the Cherokees was a product of the demand for arable land during the rampant growth of cotton agriculture in the Southeast, the discovery of gold on Cherokee land, and the racial prejudice that many white southerners harbored toward American Indians.
