So there is <u>more absorption of heat on the ground surface and the landmass area</u>. The oceans when heated it reflects some heat energy back into the atmosphere, and some of it is transferred to the land area by the sea breeze.

These events ultimately lead to an increase in the heat amount in the northern hemisphere.
