Answer: A concentration gradient must exist

Explanation: Think about it this way. If you want movement in a tub of water, the water can't be flat. This would mean it was very stable. But if there is an inequality on the water levels of the tub, meaning that one side was much higher than the other, then the water would "diffuse" and try to get flat. Same with cells. I hope that explanation somehow made sense, it made more sense in my head then written out...

The nutrition label for a food product shows the total amount of fats in grams. One gram of fat provides nine calories of energy
Gala2k [10]

Directly on the label, it says there are 110 calories from fat per serving. However, it also says that there are 12 grams of fat, and 12 x 9 = 108. Depending on what your teacher is looking for, the answer could be 108 or 110.

What is fat in food?

A small portion of fat is an important part of a healthy, balanced diet. Fat is the basis of important fatty acids, which the body cannot make itself. Fat helps the body absorb vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E. These vitamins are fat-soluble, which suggests they can only be interested with the help of fats.

Thus, this could be the answer.
