I believe there are two contributing factors for this, both the role that they observe in the media and the parents reaction with their activities

For example , When you see children cartoon, you would often see a distinguish behaviour between the male and female characters, which might be perceived by the children as the way it supposed to be. Parents' reaction to their children when they play according to or in opposite to their gender role might also play an influence.

Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

Participants are sometimes mistaken in their recollection of an event's minor details, but do not create an entirely new false memory.

Explanation:

The creation of new false memory happen very often among individuals. Most people tend to interpret new information that exist around us based on our own principles, knowledge, and experience.  So, whenever we see new information that does not conform to these, we tend to falsely record that information into our memory so it conform to our principles, knowledge, and experience.

icang [17]

Answer:

The correct answer would be, Both masculine and feminine characteristics. In thinking about Mary, a psychologist would tend to view Mary's gender role as being comprised of both masculine and feminine characteristics.

Explanation:

Psychologists do a comprehensive personality assessment. When they assess a female's gender role, they tend to view both masculine and feminine characteristics in the female.

The feminine characteristics may include empathy, compassion, caring, sensitive, gentleness, sweetness, tolerance, nurturance, etc. These are all characteristics that are generally featured with females.

Courage, Strength, Independence, freedom, leadership, authority, competitive, protective, rational, goal directed, etc are characteristics that are more traditionally associated with males.

So when a psychologist will view the gender role of a female, he would see both masculine and feminine characteristics in that person.
