Answer:

This answer depends on your experiences, but I'll explain it.

Explanation:

A preconceived notion is prejudice, a judgement made before you really know something.

For example, say you saw a lanky guy in baggy jeans and a dark, low beanie walk to you. You may expect him to hurt you, because that's what some people assume persons like that to do.

However, instead of hurting you, he shakes your hand and has a great conversation with you. You leave with his contact info, because you just made a friend.

This is an example of a preconceived notion being incorrect. Hope it helps!

aniked [119]

remorseful is your best answer

"remorseful" means "filled with remorse, sorry". Even though it is not said, it is implied that he is sorry, because he thinks back to the history of how his mom ended up like that.

Which theme connects the Lady to Lancelot in Tennyson's "The Lady of Shalott"?
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

aloneness

Explanation:

The poem “The Lady of Shalott” tells the story of the young isolated woman. The lady lives in the tower on the island that lies on the river flowing to Camelot. Lady knows she is bound by some curse, but she is not sure what it is nor what are the consequences. She looks on to the road to Camelot through the mirror, while weaving at all times.

However, she becomes more isolated and lonely over time. In one line she says, 'I am half sick of shadows,' meaning she doesn’t want only to see the shadows of the people and their lives while being unable to live her life herself with other people.

When she sees Sir Lancelot, she is overflown with the wish for the company and decides to stop weaving and leave the island. However, she dies before arriving at the shore of Camelot. Her wish to meet other people and stop being alone brought down the said curse upon her.
