The treatment and prevention facilities have improved leaps and bounds in those two centuries.

With the two important discoveries of the germ particle and the invention of some tools that led to surgery in its modern form and its study made it possible for doctors to understand disease for the first time, it also meant that these discoveries could better use the tools now made for surgery and the cure of the patients that needed their care in this time.
