The two century span given here was the part of some of the most dramatic change in the human exploration of science and it also reflected in the medical practices of the time.

With the two important discoveries of the germ particle and the invention of some tools that led to surgery in its modern form and its study made it possible for doctors to understand disease for the first time, it also meant that these discoveries could better use the tools now made for surgery and the cure of the patients that needed their care in this time.
