What attitude toward marriage do algernon and lady bracknell represent?

English

Similar to Aunt Augusta, Algernon has a traditional Victorian attitude toward marriage as being a business engagement due to his inexperience as a bachelor and realistic view of life. Clearly, Algernon's inexperience with marriage and romance makes him dependent on relations to "set [him] a good example"(2) to follow.
