The true statement about the main idea of a text is that identifying the main idea of a text can help you understand what you read. Option A is correct.

When a reader indetify the main idea, he/she will be able to understand all the details and the explanations developed thoroughout the entire text. In addotion to this, the details are always meant to support the main idea. The main idea can be supported by expert, especially if the writer is not an expert on the subject. It is also important to be aware that main idea is not always directly stated in narrative text, and that sometimes we have to figure it out by reading between the lines.

We should not have to do community service because in school we are suppose to be learning. Community service has nothing to do with any subject. This is exactly why we shouldn't have to do things for the community, it has no real value to help us pass.

How does the quotation from Christine Guth support MacGregor’s point about The Great Wave?
NikAS [45]

The quotation from Christine Guth does a lot by manner of making points.  One thing the quotation from Christine Guth does is support MacGregor’s point about The Great Wave.  It does this with the use of a clever interpretation.  Through interpretation, the wave can be seen as a manner in which travel as well as trade can take place.  Too, Japan can be isolated by this wave according to the interpretation.
