Which learning style is employed when you read a newspaper?

I think the learning style employed when you read a newspaper are the reading style and the visual style.

Learning styles are the ways an individual can learn, according with Dr. Neil Fleming´s investigation during the late ´80s  there are four main types of learners:

  • Visual learners
  • Auditory learners
  • Reading/writing learners
  • Kinesthesic learners

The model is named VARK after the acronyms of the types of learning process.

When you are reading a newspaper I believe you are mixing two types of leaners the reading and the visual one. The reading type it is found on the words you read and how the information is absorved by you; while the visual part are those graphs or charts used to make more clear the information written in words like in the economy part or some social studies printed in the newspaper.

I will give a little explanation why I don´t think that the learning styles used are Auditory or Kinesthesic:

Auditory learners are those that prefer to listen to what they want to understand better, this type of learners are more keen to listen to the radio or podcasts in order to learn from something.

Kinesthesic learners are the ones that learn from experience and practice whether if it is simulated or real. They tend to understand better examples taken out from the nature or the reality than fictional ones.

I hope the answer help you and make you notice that the types of learning are not "one or another" if not they can be a mixture between them to understand better the information.

What is the element the gods use to finally make successful humans
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

The correct answer is Maize.

Explanation:

Many stories speak of the creation of humans, but especially this speaks of the creation of three species of humans where two of them were destroyed until the last was perfect to what the gods were looking for. This is the story according to the Maya in his book Popol Vuh.

The first creation of the gods was made of mud; the mud people were not productive enough, they did not have the reasoning that the gods wanted, the gods thought that these people only spoke but did not know, so they destroyed them with water.

The second creation was made with wood, although these people were productive, they had no soul, so they could not honor the gods, so they decided to destroy them by sending a flood of boiling water.

The third creation that the gods made was a human-made of white and yellow maize, in addition to the blood of the gods.

The story goes that the men and women who were the result of this creation were too wise for which the gods considered it a threat to the gods and their authority.

Therefore they were sent to destroy, but "<em>Hear of Sky " </em> only clouded their minds and eyes to diminish their wisdom; that is how perfect humans were created since this was the last creation of individuals made by the gods.

<em>I hope this information can help you. </em>

Which sentences in this excerpt from Leo Tolstoy’s The Death of Ivan Ilyich show Ivan Ilyich’s struggle with his life and his in
cricket20 [7]

In this excerpt from Leo Tolstoy’s "The Death of Ivan Ilyich", the sentences that best shows how Ivan Ilyich struggles with his life and his inability to let go of his past are:

"He was hindered from getting into it by his conviction that his life had been a good one. That very justification of his life held him fast and prevented his moving forward, and it caused him most torment of all."

In this two sentences, we can see that Ivan Ilyich cannot comprehend what is happening to him if his life had been so god. His past happiness does not allow him to accept his current situation. Ivan Ilyich is aware of this incapacity of letting go of his past and feels frustrated and depressed because of it.
