Answer:

WACC = 8%

Explanation:

WACC is the minimum return that a company  should make to on its investment to satisfy the providers of funds (i.e loan providers and equity holders). The rate usually reflect the riskiness of the of the investment and finance structure used.

<u>Calculation</u>

WACC =(MV of Equity÷MV of the Company)Ke +(MV of Debt÷MV of the Company)Kd (1-t).

Where :

MV of the Company ⇒ MV of Equity+MV of Company

Ke ⇒      Cost of Equity

Kd(1-t) ⇒      Cost of Debt after Tax

WACC= (50/100)12.1% + (50/100) 6%(1-0.35)

         = 6.05%             + 1.95%

Hence, WACC = 8%

<u>Implication of Captital Structure on WACC</u>

Provided the investment was solely financed by equity instrument alone, the the WACC would have remained at 12.1%. However, with the introduction of debt finance, this has resuced our WACC to 8%.

2. You retire at age 60 and expect to live another 23 years. On the day you retire, you have $568,900 in your retirement savings
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

The monthly withdrawals are $3,537.85 and will last for 23 years.

Explanation:

We have to calculate the monthly installment of an annuity:

PV \div \frac{1-(1+r)^{-time} }{rate} = C\\

PV 568,900.00

time 276 (23 years x 12 months)

rate 0.004333333 (5.2% = 5.2 / 100 = 0.052 per year we now divide by the 12 months of a year and get the rate for monthly withdrawals.

568900 \div \frac{1-(1+0.00433)^{-276} }{0.00433} = C\\

C  $ 3,537.85

Which of the following sentences with internal sentence interrupters use correct punctuation? Check all that apply. The VP of fi
Flura [38]

Answer:

The correct answer is The VP of finance, not the CFO, works with the departmental managers to develop internal budgets. and Our graduates, having had two full semesters of workplace communication, always do well in the job market.

Explanation:

We use the sentence interruoters to indicate information that is not relevant to the sentence. This information, not being important, must be separated by two commas.

What is inside the comma <u>should not interfere with the final meaning of the sentence and its understanding</u>. We could remove that part and the sentence should continue to make sense.

In this case we have the following sentences:

<em>The VP of finance, not the CFO, works with the departmental managers to develop internal budgets. </em>

<em>Our graduates, having had two full semesters of workplace communication, always do well in the job market. </em>

Let's see what happens if we remove what is located between the commas:

<em>The VP of finance works with the departmental managers to develop internal budgets. </em>

<em>Our graduates always do well in the job market. </em>

As we can see, both sentences still make sense, which indicates that this information was not relevant and was well punctuated by being located between two commas.

<em>Elastic</em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

Price Elasticity of Demand (PED) is a method in economics which shows the demand quantity of a good or service, in response to a change in its price. PED is a percentage change in quantity demanded, when the price changes by one percent.
